Taupe/Cranberry Eyes Makeup Look

Products Used:
Essence All About Matte Primer

Maybelline Matte Maker Powder
NARS Laguna Bronzer

To create this look I wanted a flawless, contoured base. I used my concealer in a light and dark shade to conceal, highlight and contour my face. Of course I blended until my arm ached!

For the eyes I used the Colour Tattoo as a base and packed on woodwinked all over the lid. To add some warmth I took cranberry and blended from the outer corners inward.

Eyeliner, mascara and lashes later and the look ties together.
I used the black kohl and some cranberry shadow to smoke out the lower lashline.

I think this look is perfect for any Christmas or Festive parties, I'll be wearing something similar to my Christmas party.
I hope you like it!

The holiday/party season is fast approaching and I am SO excited to play with makeup (GLITTER). I wanted to do a look that was kind of 'dipping your toes in' party makeup for any early parties or events you may have but you feel it's still a little to early to go the full hog.

1) To start this look off I primed my skin as always, use what works for you. I used a medium coverage foundation and used concealer on any problem skin. I powdered my T-Zone and spritzed some Fix+ to finish my base.

2) For my eyes I took 'Seductive' (shimmery brown) all over my lid and 'Sultry' (matte medium brown) in the crease and kept building up the colour until I was happy. I took 'Sultry' onto my lower lash lane and applied a dark brown kohl liner in my waterline & tightline.

3) To finish the eyes I applied a liquid liner and created a small flick (heads up, the MUA Liquid Liner is pants - however their eyeshadow palettes are awesome) and curled my lashes to death and applied lashings of mascara.

4) To finish the face I contoured lightly, filled in my brows, applied a touch of blush to the apples of my cheek and then the best bit, the lip colour! You need to build this but once it is one, its lovely and does not budge!

I hope you liked this post, if you did please click the heart!

What are your favourite party products? Please let me know in the comments, I'd love to know!

Anastisia Brow Wiz - Worth the Hype?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

I'm sure you've all heard about this product before. Anastasia Beverly Hills has been talked about everywhere lately, known mainly for their amazing brow products.

I've always loved my brows up until the past 6 months or so when I've attempted to fill them and look back at pictures and think 'oh goodness, what was I thinking'. Now I feel as if I've mastered my own brows, I can really appreciate how much it adds to shaping your face and tying it your make up.

I've only ever tried drugstore brow products before, like the Rimmel Brow Pencil or little brow palettes and used an angle brush to fill in my brows. Using a brow shadow espically, I found my brows used to turn into one big blob of brown, not cute.

I decided to just bite bullet and get the brow wiz. I was torn between that or the pomade but I've always got a long with pencil type products better so thought the brow wiz would be more suitable.

This product is REALLY worth the hype for me. At first I had to get used to it but after a couple of times of using it, I tried my old trusty Rimmel pencil and was disgusted and had to re-do my brows with the brow wiz. I took a before and after picture (below) which I thought might show how it works a lot better!

Have you tried this product yet? What do you think?
