L'oreal Super Liner Review/Swatch

I'm by no means an expert at liner, in fact, it's one of things I kind of suck at. Give me a kohl liner to smudge any day. But there is something about have a nice clean, crisp liner look.

Because of my lack of skills I really struggle with finding a good liner that works for me. I've had a few on my list to test out, but came across this on Feel Unique and remember hearing A LOT of gurus and bloggers saying how good it was.

Boy they were not wrong. This makes my liner look pro, like legit. I actually stop and look at it in the mirror and say to myself 'did I really do that?'.

(L'Oreal Super Liner Black Lacquer Waterproof)

I'm obviously not good and swatching a straight line though...

The formula is super long lasting and has a shiny finish, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I can cope for now by using a matte black eyeshadow over top.

When I say long lasting, it withstands me rubbing my eyes all day from 7am - 6pm, not bad going!

I would totally recommend this product for beginners like me!

Have you tried it? What do you think?

Autumn is creeping on us in the UK so I wanted to do a light autumn look that was quick to create. This look consists of matte skin, thick liner and a dark red lip. It was super quick and easy and great if you want to amp things up a bit.

1) Starting with creating my matte base, I used a mattifing primer, then went onto my foundation which I built up to quite a full coverage for this look as I wanted it to look very crisp and defined. I concealed under my eyes and blemished and set with my powder.

2) Creating the liner was the hardest part for me as I'm a smudgy brown smokey eye gal. I started in the middle of the eye, slowly winging it out in line with the end of my brow. To achieve the thick line I just carried on building and building until it was the thickness I wanted.

3) I used my balm stain to lip my lips then fill in, I overdrew slightly to make my lips look fuller.

4) As a finishing touch, I took my matt bronzer and gently sculpted out my cheekbones. This really tied everything together as my face was looking very flat!
What do you think of this look? It's definitely out of my comfort zone as I love having colour on my bottom lashes but I love the way it turned out.
